Luke Stapleford is the 2026 British Supersport Champion
Eleven years after he last celebrated the title, Luke Stapleford is British Supersport Champion once again.
The Scars-Racing Ducati rider crossed the line at Brands Hatch this afternoon at the end of today’s Sprint race on his Panigale V2 today in third place, taking the Championship win with a race to spare.

"It's been mega since jumping on the Ducati first time last November. I've just felt at home. Everyone knows how comfortable I've been on it, so it's a shame that the season's over really. I've made it clear that I'd like to continue next year really on the Ducati, but that's not an option. But I'm glad to finally get the weight off my shoulders and get the number one that we set out to do from day one, we can enjoy it now!"
