4 Year WarrantyThe 2026 Superbike World Championship is set to conclude this weekend at the Circuito de Jerez - Ángel Nieto in Spain which means that Superbike Advocates Racing has almost completed its rookie campaign on the world stage.
Rider Tommy Bridewell is looking to bring the current season to a positive conclusion, in keeping with the impressive results scored to date. The WorldSBK rookie, who will continue to compete with the Anglo-Australian privateer squad in 2027, has already achieved top five finishes in what has proved to be a highly competitive championship, and this despite not knowing many of the circuits.
Heading into the final Jerez round, the British rider can count on previous track knowledge but is also aware that his many Spanish rivals know the circuit inside out. The season finale comes straight on the back of the penultimate round at Estoril Circuit, where Bridewell finished P11 for a points finish in Race 2 after overcoming challenges earlier in the weekend. Considering he had not previously visited the Portuguese circuit, team and rider are highly motivated to round out the 2026 season in style.
As is tradition, the final race weekend will be followed almost immediately by the first of the winter tests, at the same Jerez track, giving the WorldSBK field a first opportunity to prepare for the 2027 championship, which will present various regulatory changes.
Opened in 1985, Spain’s Circuito de Jerez welcomed its first international motorcycle events the following year, quickly establishing itself as a fixture on the racing calendar. WorldSBK first visited the circuit in 1990 and has returned regularly since 2013, making the Andalusian venue a familiar stop for teams and riders. In 2018, the circuit was renamed in honour of Spanish motorcycling legend, Ángel Nieto. Measuring 4.423 km, the technical layout features 13 corners - eight right-handers and five left-handers - and demands precision, consistency and confidence from riders.
Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Racing #46)
“It’s on to Jerez, after finishing the Estoril round on a strong note. I know the circuit quite well, as everyone does on the grid does of course. It will just be a case of getting the bike dialed in and then building over the course of the weekend. I’m really looking forward to this last round, but it’s also bittersweet because my debut season in WorldSBK has been so enjoyable and it’s just gone so fast! So, I’m a little sad but also motivated to finish on a high and lay the foundations for next season.”
