Ducati presents the 4-year warranty for all Multistrada V4, Multistrada V2 and DesertX models.
4 Year WarrantyIn the upcoming new five-part series Lost Grounds, Sky Sports Presenter Ben Ransom travels across the UK on a Ducati Multistrada V4 S to discover what remains of football stadia from a bygone era.
Part pilgrimage and part journey of discovery, this is the ultimate nostalgia trip down memory lane for football fans. Taking on four corners of the UK on two wheels, Ben travels to more than 50 locations where league football was played and meets the people for whom they remain so special, taking in Goodison Park, Maine Road, Roker Park, White Hart Lane, Filbert Street, Highfield Road, The Dell and many, many more.
Along the way he uncovers answers to the most peculiar questions. Where is the ground turned housing estate that contains a national monument of North Korea? Why is there piece of Arsenal history in someone's back garden? Which club had Ben retrieving footballs from a river? Who uses their old football stadium for gardening, and what does Fatboy Slim love so much about the Withdean?
Ben Ransom - Sky Sports Presenter
“I’m a self-confessed football nerd and I love riding motorbikes, so when the opportunity to get involved in making this project came about, I went from 0-60 quicker than Marc Marquez!
I’ve always had that overwhelming excitement when walking into a football stadium for the first time, the feeling of your hairs standing up when you see the stands and get hit by the noise of the crowd. I’m also just about old enough to have been able to visit many of these grounds as a fan before they were demolished, so for me this was the ultimate trip down memory lane. I met some fantastic people along the way and saw some wonderful things, which is the ideal combination for an epic road trip.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 S was the perfect bike to undertake such a crazy journey. It ate up the miles whether I was on the M1, winding through B-roads in South Wales or fighting my way into the city. The biggest and most pleasant surprise was just how usable it was. Even as I battled the London rush-hour traffic to reach the final destination of the famous Wembley arch it was incredibly rider-friendly. It’s such a great ride!”
A new episode of Lost Grounds will be shown every day this week, starting on Monday 5th October, on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel.
In addition to On Demand, and Sky Sports social and digital platforms, an episode will be shown every week from Sunday 11th October on Sky Sports Premier League (Sky Channel 402), straight after the conclusion of Super Sunday.
