A bike with which to conquer unexplored lands, equipped with everything a rider needs to travel in real comfort. Its impressive versatility is the result of a new setup and targeted engine development.
The 1158 cc V4 Granturismo engine delivers 170 hp (125 kW) at 10,500 rpm and 125 Nm (12.7 kgm) at 8750 rpm and weighs in at just 66.7 kg. Power and lightness that set a new benchmark for bikes in the category and ensure smooth and linear delivery at low rpm.
Multistrada V4 Rally adopts a new off-road power mode that limits engine power to 115 hp for a more dynamic, direct response during the initial phase of throttle travel.
In addition to shutting off the rear cylinders when the bike is stationary, the new deactivation strategy extends to the entire rear bank even at low speeds, when engine speed and torque demand from the accelerator are low. This reduces consumption with respect to the Multistrada V4 S and extends range, thanks also to the increased tank capacity.
Many of the electronic systems that are now standard on motorbikes were pioneered by Ducati, which has earned a place among the most advanced companies in the sector. Safety, comfort and performance improved thanks to the continuous improvement.
