Three wins for Bulega and three P2s for Lecuona write a chapter of history for Aruba.it Racing Ducati: no Superbike team had ever finished three races with both riders in first and second places

The Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team has gone down in Superbike history thanks to Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona, who capped off a perfect weekend by taking first and second place respectively in the Superpole Race and Race 2, following their 1-2 finish on Saturday in Superpole and Race 1.

An unprecedented result that allows the official Ducati team in WorldSBK to celebrate not only Bulega's first place in the standings (124 points) and Lecuona's second (68) but also provisional leadership in both the Team standings and the Manufacturers' World Championship.

Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #11)
“It's been a fantastic Sunday. But it wasn't easy to achieve these results because in Friday's free practice sessions, especially in FP1, I didn't feel I had the best feeling. We've done a great job and for that I want to thank the team. I'm very satisfied. From tomorrow, we'll be thinking about Assen.”

Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #7)
“We've taken a very important step forward since Australia. There's great harmony within the team; our goal is to improve session by session. We're doing that, and it gives me great confidence. It's been a very rewarding weekend, and I'm delighted to have shared it with my wife Gema, my family and my friends.”
