4 Year WarrantyThe Superbike World Championship checks in at Italy’s Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, where Superbike Advocates Racing prepares to take part in the seventh round of the 2026 season.
Just over a week ago, the Anglo-Australian squad put in a very impressive performance during round six at Motorland Aragón. In addition to achieving a P7 and P9 in Sunday’s races, Bridewell scored his first top five finish of the season in Race 1, an incredible result considering that the rookie rider and his newly established team were taking part in only their fifth ever WorldSBK round.
Prior to that round, a two-day test at Misano gave the team some valuable dry track time, during which to best prepare for this weekend’s Italian round. Thanks to that test session, and bolstered by the round six results, WorldSBK newbie Bridewell and his technicians head into this latest event with greater confidence and knowledge.
Originally known as Circuito Internazionale Santamonica, the track was renamed in 2012 to commemorate the late Simoncelli, officially becoming “Misano World Circuit – Marco Simoncelli”. Set on Italy’s Adriatic coast in the Emilia-Romagna region, the circuit is a staple of the summer racing calendar, where intense heat adds an extra physical challenge for riders. The track is a regular stage for both the MotoGP and WorldSBK championships. Since its inauguration in 1972, the track has undergone several modifications and today stretches for 4.226 kilometres, featuring a technical layout of 10 right-hand corners and 6 left-handers.
Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Racing #46)
“I’m conscious that we need to keep our feet on the ground. We’ve made amazing progress through the first part of our WorldSBK campaign but I’m very aware that not all weekends will be equally great. That said, I’m really looking forward to Misano. We had a really positive test there, in hot conditions; it would be nice if the weather wasn’t quite as hot for the race perhaps! But as a team we know we need to enjoy the highs, like the recent Aragón round, but then be ready to hit reset and get straight back to work at the next round. We’re still learning, we have a huge way to go, but I feel we’re going about it the right way. I think we have the potential to do well at Misano, but we’re not getting ahead of ourselves or going into the round with any particular expectations. Let’s see.”
