A Great victory, stemming from talent and sheer determination. A race dominated from the very start, so sought after and forcefully concluded by a superlative Pecco. A third consecutive win for him, making it five in the season, after a race managed as a true champion. Important figures that fully explain the condition of both bike and rider. But it was Ducati as a whole that rose to the occasion as an amazing protagonist with 4 bikes in the top 5 positions – a result that was only prevented from being even more outstanding by the prowess of our indomitable opponents. Also or perhaps especially, I am really satisfied with the hard work done by our technicians in their sustained quest towards improving and fine tuning our bikes. I think it is of paramount importance to thank them and to express my full appreciation for the sterling work of our Ducati Corse girls and boys. The only regret is for Enea, who had attained his first MotoGP pole position. It was only bad luck that stopped him too soon, owing to a contact of the rim with the curb, taking him out of a race in which he would have surely been a most worthy contestant. As banal as it may sound to say it, we must now continue race by race, going all out and always believing in it, with the same awareness and determination we demonstrated today. Come on, Ducati!
