A perfect performance, a diamond that continued to sparkle throughout a weekend that dominated in the qualifying round, the Sprint Race and in Sunday's race, that all representing the good work done so far with both bike and rider.

A phenomenal Pecco, fast, granitic in substance and exemplary in form: every curve bore the surgical efficiency of his masterly “brush-strokes”, conceding nothing more than what his impeccable handling of the race dictated, which indeed never let up for the entire weekend.

He was able to hold on to the pole position at the start, of the utmost importance on this track, determinedly keeping his adversaries at bay, imposing an inexorable, unparalleled pace, without even the slightest slip: the command of a true Champion.

These excellent starts enhanced the sterling work done by the team in introducing a package of upgrades here, allowing us to successfully counter our rivals, who are becoming increasingly insidious at this delicate and important stage of the race season.

I wholeheartedly thank the whole Team for their commitment and the result it achieved; at the same time this shows that we still have something on which to improve and that we must continue to work without ever being satisfied: after all, it is this continuous drive that is our real strength.

4 Ducatis in the top 5 bikes, with 3 Italian riders: a superb Bezzecchi and a super Marini with the further fine confirmation of Alex Marquez: my compliments to them all.

Enea raced obstinately and this comforts me: even though his feeling with the bike is not yet as we would like it, we will always do our utmost to help him express his unquestionable talent.

So we applaud Pecco's fifth win out of ten races, and salute the important gap in the standings over the second place, but never letting up, and continuing to think of the coming challenges: Come on, Ducati!
