Racing suits

Kangaroo leather has excellent tear and abrasion resistance, ensuring great protection in the event of a fall. Among the materials currently used for racing suits, kangaroo leather is the one that has the best ratio between mechanical resistance and lightness. In fact, the leather is 0.9 mm (1/32’’) thick, and is 25% thinner than a cowhide for sports motorcycle use. The reduced thickness of the leather makes the suit lighter and ensures greater comfort, especially during prolonged use. The reduced thickness also guarantees an excellent fit: the suit better follows the rider’s movements while driving. 

The new air-bag system features the Racing Shield airbag, with patented microfilament technology, supporting up to 3 activations. The system covers the neck, collarbone, and shoulder areas and can be recharged independently by the rider replacing the state-of-the-art gas generator.

Multi-led control interface constantly displays the system status. The d-air ® can be managed and monitored via the new dedicated app.

Development of the triaxial concept, the pentaxial elasticity system on the back allows greater freedom of movement and increased mobility on leans, given by the ability of this technology to extend in five directions and smoothly adapt to the rider’s movements.

The new construction on the elbow (Replaceable Slider System, RSS) allows the slider to be changed without changing the position of the base attached to the Velcro on the suit. At the elbow level it’s designed to offer two different positions according to preference and lean angle reached, adjustable with just a click.

New hump construction for better aerodynamics. Prepared for the insertion of the Water-bag.

For the highest levels of ergonomics and comfort, the suit features this ergonomic system which reduces pressure on the neck while increasing freedom of movement.

Titanium plates on knees and shoulders, are designed to facilitate sliding in a fall, to be lightweight, and to be highly resistant to abrasion. 

The cuffs have self-locking zippers to replace the conventional Velcro, and the Soft Edges Construction system on the cuffs allows maximum comfort and adaptable fit for all arm shapes and lengths.

Particular three-dimensional lining that creates an air gap between the outside and inside of the garment, creating an optimal microclimate. It dries quickly in hot weather and offers good insulation at medium temperatures. Since it is not necessary to add an additional thermal lining, the fitting remains optimal.

Pro Armor soft protectors on shoulders, integrated in the inner lining for highest freedom of movement. Composite protectors on elbows and knees. Soft Pro-Shape 2.0 protectors on hips.

Innovative Personal Protection Gear (PPG) protecting the neck, shoulders, clavicles and false ribs with an airbag. It activates electronically, without needing to be physically connected to the bike, in case of rolling skidding and highside at a speed exceeding 50 Km/h. 

The algorithm can recognize the impact and dynamic of the fall and decide in a few thousands of a second whether to inflate or not the bag made with patented 3D technology. Battery range: 8 hours in constant operating conditions
