A spectacular day for Ducati as a whole, in front of our wonderful fans and in that extraordinary setting that only Mugello can provide. In this vortex of endless emotions, we are at a loss to find the right words.
We dominated on a weekend that was of the utmost importance to us: from Pole, with the track record to boot, to Sunday's race that made it a historical “poker” for Ducati Corse. A superlative Pecco, the exemplary proof of power and intelligence, of steadfastness and awareness in handling every situation, even emotional, for what is perhaps the most resounding win he has achieved.
In a home Grand Prix that for the first time in MotoGP sees our bikes in the top 4 positions, following the Sprint Race affirmation, with a “5 out of 5”. All this, thanks to the other Ducati riders and their respective teams as well, always protagonists, even more so today in a Great Celebration that really belongs to everyone.
But our first thought cannot but be for all the people that work both at home and on the track for our Project with unfailing dedication: women and men to whom goes all our gratitude, today being the best moment for acknowledging all this, making me super happy.
The same joy that I feel for our fans, for having managed to give them all the satisfactions and emotions they truly deserve. Come on, Ducati!
