A weekend totally under the Ducati banner!

A GP that I wouldn’t hesitate to define as being the ultimate confirmation. After a fantastic qualification with 5 of our bikes at the front of the grid, we lived a race fought to the very end, a GP that brought us great joy and signs of vital importance. A commendable Bastianini notches his second success, even more striking because it was intelligently achieved with a race won with maturity and determination. A confirmation of strength, speed and great talent, as well as the bike’s perfect tuning by Team Gresini, deserving of all my compliments.
Jack instead struggled towards the end, after a first part ridden at a very fast and unchallenged pace, but in which he attained a very important podium; an excellent race that tells us that the Lenovo Ducati Team is finding the right feeling, even though later than expected: it is now a matter of quickly bridging the last gap.
Even Pecco’s fifth place, though seemingly unsatisfactory, viewed in this context, between the qualification and the race in which, several times, he clocked the best provisional lap time, indicates that little is missing to achieve the stable harmony needed to give him performance constancy.
And without forgetting the Ducati Pramac boys that performed well and were also protagonists at the beginning of the race.
We confidently hope to continue with this important crescendo during a season that will be long and open to every result, given also the performance of our opponents. Let's now enjoy this splendid victory by Enea, his leadership in the standings, our 3 bikes in the first 5 positions, and, to close the magical circle of a Sunday wearing the Ducati Corse smile, we must also applaud the fantastic return of Alvaro Bautista who, with 2 wins and a second place, immediately turned SBK “Red”!
