A perfect race, a splendid win. Simply, a wonderful weekend. This win in Brno was gratifying and important, and just as noteworthy was Pecco's third spot in a finishing order where four of our bikes ended in the top six positions. After Saturday’s Sprint win, another great joy for us and our riders: both rode Brno like veritable lions, proving to be the champions we’re absolutely proud of.

Marquez triumphed with sagacity, strategy and the pace of who well knows when and how to manage the race, waiting to strike the decisive blow. A test of strength during which he imposed himself with an authority that cannot be matched, the same determination shown by Pecco until halfway through the race, before having to accept the final dip in performance. It's the Marc-masterpiece we've been waiting for! Yes, it was important to win again, and to win here, on a complete and demanding track, physically putting him to the test and confirming our good progress with the bike set-up.

And Pecco was just as fabulous, equally determined and generous. He fought tooth and nail to the end, like a number one contender, at first vying for victory and then holding on to third spot, still on the podium, now the fourth consecutive. Having won the Sprint Race is the feather in the cap of a weekend that demonstrates how fruitful the path taken has proven: another step towards finding the right feeling with the bike in a performance consistency that boosts the team’s confidence and morale.

There was another powerful comeback by Diggia, which Bagnaia was able to skilfully contain, but that once again shows Diggia’s maturity and continuity, as well as his talent and speed proven by posting the race’s best time in the last lap.

And we’re immediately on the road again. A season that proves to be increasingly fierce. Assen is waiting for us now: we look forward to the responses from such a demanding track, long-awaited by the two-wheel motoring world. A special “hi” to our fans whom we hope to keep smiling... We’ll pitch-in all we have: that’s for sure!

Forza Ducati!
