An extraordinary victory. Especially seeing how it happened.

All due to Pecco’s superb ride, like the true champion he is: he gave it all. Tenacity and intelligence, skill and courage, with head and heart, lap after lap. With perfect trajectories he managed and made the most of everything the bike could give. The Ducati held up a frenzied pace and Pecco’s psychological solidity was further put to test by an unjust penalty made even worse by its delayed notification. Granitic and fearless, he wanted victory, he sought it and obtained it fighting tooth and nail with relentless “guts”. A very tough race indeed, a test meriting to be framed.

Also since this is the happy conclusion to a weekend that hadn’t started in the best of ways, also because of Enea’s quitting, painful in every sense. We managed to constantly improve the bike, in a continuous recovery from Friday's free practice through to the race’s final set-up. Every member of the team has given of their best in commendable teamwork that makes this win even more special. What better way to tell Bastianini that we are waiting for him so that our Ducati pair get back together again!

Just enough time to rejoice before our minds already become focussed on Monday, always on track. Above all, we tested some “cycling” components that we hadn’t been able to test during this past winter, generally drawing valuable data for future developments, all results that will now have to be suitably analysed to decide if and when to introduce these new solutions.

Come on, Ducati!
