Discover moreThe weather inevitably shuffled the cards, landing us in trouble, unlike other races where conditions of this type have always been among our strong points. On this circuit, with such a particular grip and in conditions that were extreme, problems emerged that must be immediately examined and fully understood. It was still a beautiful race on the part of Zarco, who with talent and character managed to grab a gratifying podium; we are heartened by Miller’s marvellous first part of the race in addition to the persistence of Bastianini who, with an excellent finish, holds firm at the top of the world championship standings. Our feeling on dry conditions has improved and our performance likewise, even if we are not where we wanted to be, and where indeed we must be. The riders’ comments, the times attained during tests, the telemetry and technical data in general, all tell us that we are now approaching last year’s level of performance: this is the most important pointer gained from the whole weekend. I can assure you all that both the team and the riders are working extremely hard, pitching their full efforts and commitment: let’s forge ahead and satisfactions are bound to come!
