Discover moreFree practice for the Pirelli Dutch Round, the third round of the 2026 WorldSBK season, has given the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team good feelings.
On a track that was in optimal condition, thanks in part to excellent weather, the Italian rider was the fastest in both FP1 and FP2, not only in terms of lap times but also race pace, finishing the afternoon session with a time of 1'33.687.
It was also a fairly positive day for Iker Lecuona, who, after finishing behind his team-mate in the morning session, FP1, made a small step forward in the afternoon, finishing third with a time of 1'34.017.
Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #11)
“I'm quite satisfied with what we've done today, even if we're still missing something. Let's say that, in terms of feeling, we're at 90%, and the first objective is to find the remaining 10% in FP3 tomorrow morning.”
Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #7)
“To be honest, I was expecting a bit more. Perhaps we've taken a small step backwards compared to Portimão, but that's normal in the development process we're going through. The race pace is still good, though, and we're confident we can make a significant step forward tomorrow.”
