Conflicting feelings after the Styrian GP

Ours are conflicting feelings, to say the least. An important win for Ducati, a confirmation marked by Jorge Martin’s wonderful race savvy: congratulations to him and to the Pramac Racing Team. In his first MotoGP win, Jorge expressed himself with grit and intelligence, displaying the authority and experience of a veteran. And of this we must content ourselves. Equally however, we certainly cannot feel satisfied with the overall result of the team as a whole. It goes without saying that we should have done more to be competitive and stay ahead of our main adversary even with the riders that are decidedly aiming at the top standings. For various reasons, which we are now analysing, we have so far failed to succeed with any of them. At the final countdown however, nothing really changes: what I would like to glean from this race is an even stronger awareness of the fact that we can do well, always and ever, through to the end, starting from next weekend.
