Discover moreWith the start of the season most loved by motorcyclists, Ducati presents the "Multistrada Tour - Alpen Edition". This is an innovative format, which allows enthusiasts to participate in a unique experience and at the same time to conduct an in-depth test ride with the Multistrada V4 in its natural habitat: the curves of the most famous Alpine passes in Europe.
The formula designed by Ducati for the "Multistrada Tour - Alpen Edition" offers itineraries of variable duration (between one and two hours), studied in detail to get the best out of the dynamic qualities of the Multistrada V4. The presence of qualified staff will accompany participants throughout the whole test with an initial technical brief to learn about the details of the bike and the route, followed by a few moments of sharing riding sensations organised halfway through and at the end of the experience. Booking the test is free and can be easily made through the dedicated section of the Ducati.com website.
There are six appointments scheduled between the months of May and July 2022, organized by Ducati in the most iconic places in the Italian Alps: Sestrière (Piedmont), Ponte di Legno (Lombardy), Bormio (Lombardy), La Thuile (Valle d'Aosta), Cortina d'Ampezzo (Veneto) and Canazei (Trentino-Alto Adige).
The Multistrada V4 has proven to be an effective bike on all types of roads, thanks to the dynamic qualities and the fluid and linear power delivery right from low revs of the V4 Granturismo engine, which guarantee a sporty ride on mixed roads and an unchallenging ride in off-road. The bike features advanced technology and was the first in the world to feature front and rear radar, with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) systems. In addition, the Multistrada V4 has benchmark maintenance intervals with valve clearance checks set every 60,000 km and all models in the family have the exclusive "4Ever Ducati" warranty, valid for 4 years with unlimited mileage*.
For 2022, the Multistrada V4 project has continued along its development path with the introduction of various technical innovations. The new semi-automatic function of the electronic suspensions for the Multistrada V4 S (Minimum Preload) allows you to reduce the height of the motorcycle and makes it easier and safer to place your feet on the ground during city use or when manoeuvring at low speed, while updates made to the infotainment system make it more intuitive and easier to use.
The Multistrada V4 2022 can also be equipped with the motorcycle lowering kit (available as an accessory) consisting of fork springs, shock absorber springs and side stand, which allows the ground clearance to be reduced by 20 mm. This new feature makes it possible for the rider to choose from a range of saddle heights between 790 and 875 mm to find the configuration that best suits their physical characteristics and riding style. Participants in the “Multistrada Tour Alpen Edition” can therefore choose whether to ride the standard version of the Multistrada V4 or the model equipped with the lowered suspension kit.
Below is the calendar of appointments with the "Ducati Multistrada Tour Alpen Edition":
The entire Alpine region will be transformed into the ideal setting for motorcyclists from all over Europe and the Multistrada V4 is ready to accompany them along the most beautiful curves in Italy.
