The Ducati Museum hosts the third stage of the "Ride to FIM Awards - the Future of Motorcycling" project

Ducati hosted inside the spaces of its Museum the third appointment of "Ride to FIM Awards - the Future of Motorcycling", the project launched by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) together with the Italian (FMI),.

It is a journey of four events which, starting from the beginning of September, are leading up to the celebrations of the Motorcycling World Champions, the FIM Awards, scheduled for December 3 in Rimini, where over forty riders of the various disciplines will behonored.

The third stage of this journey took place at the Ducati Museum, where a round table entitled "The future: sustainability and motorcycling" was held, with the aim of creating a moment of discussion and in-depth analysis on issues concerning the future of motorcycling. These include energy transition, sustainability policies contributing to respect for the environment and the development of alternative energies towards an increasingly sustainabile motorsport.

The event was opened by Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO, together with Giovanni Copioli, FMI President and Stefano Bonaccini, President of the Emilia-Romagna Region. Jorge Viegas, FIM President, kicked off the discussion panel, which saw interventions and reflections from leading experts in the sector belonging to the FIM, the FMI, the academic and research world and the motorcycle industry.

A meeting that demonstrated the spirit of cohesion and the common intention of promoting the development of motorcycling in a direction that has respect for the environment and the territory as its focus. For the occasion, Ducati also exhibited the "V21L" prototype, the first electric motorcycle from the Borgo Panigale manufacturer that will race in the FIM MotoE™ World Cup from 2023.

Ducati and its riders, including Francesco Bagnaia and Alvaro Bautista, thanks to an extraordinary racing season, will also be protagonists of the FIM Awards scheduled for Saturday 3 December in Rimini.
