Thrilling all-Ducati podium

A strange race, concentrated as it was in the last two laps and heavily conditioned by tyre consumption. An exciting finale that ends with a thrilling all-Ducati podium order of arrival.

We applaud Zarco's first win in MotoGP, a well-deserved victory, the result of an exemplary conduct that showed all his talent. Congratulations to Pramac, once again proving their excellent team work and the skill of their riders. The same applies to Team Gresini, whose Di Giannantonio managed to mount the podium for the first time in the top class, a rider that proved battle-hardened and determined as never before, protagonist among top performers in all recent races.

For Pecco we can only say: mission accomplished! He did today what he had to do, even with a bike configuration that was less than perfect. Bravo! A race of substance, less conspicuous  than some others but equally commendable. Optimally prepared and managed with the necessary choices, ending with the champion’s strike at the decisive moment. I really admired his attitude, always with everything under control he managed to keep in the race’s context biding his time without letting eagerness and pride take the upper hand: this earned him a second place with the flavour of an outright win, attained with intelligence and cunning, a sign of strength and great maturity.

After his fantastic Pole position, Martin confirms himself as being overwhelming, fast and courageous, a pure talent, betrayed today by a very risky, almost prohibitive choice of tyres, and this we knew: in the end it didn’t pay.

Come on, Ducati!
