Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia: when speed becomes art

There is a red - indeed, Tricolor - thread that links Panigale V4 to an artist's canvas. A thread that runs through engineering, design, emotion and lands in contemporary art. Thanks to the collaboration with Andrea Crespi, one of the most promising Italian artistic voices of the new generation, Ducati writes a new chapter in its artistic journey.

Ducati renews its connection with the art world by shaping a project that combines technical excellence, visual appeal and Italian identity.

Andrea Crespi signs a never-before-seen work inspired by the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia, a collector's bike in a numbered and limited edition of only 163 examples. His work, composed of fluid lines, optical illusions and trajectories in motion, reinterprets the iconic blue of the livery in a visual vortex giving body to a new perceptual dimension of movement. A 1:1 scale canvas, where Light Blue, the same blue that dressed Ducati's triumphs at Mugello 2024, becomes narrative and symbol. From this work comes a limited series of 163 small-scale lithographs, reserved for enthusiasts who have chosen the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia. Each is numbered and signed by the artist, just as each example of the bike carries the signature of Francesco Bagnaia of the Ducati Lenovo Team, underlining its uniqueness and exclusivity.

From design to canvas, the Panigale becomes applied art: a dialogue between technical innovation and creative emotion.

Ducati's journey into the art world

This collaboration stems from a shared vision: for Ducati, the love of beauty has always been an integral part of its DNA. A value that takes shape in motorcycles capable of combining technology and beauty and that naturally marries with the universal language of art.

In a path of growing affinity and closeness with the world of art, Crespi's work in fact becomes part of Ducati's corporate art collection at Borgo Panigale, alongside works such as Fortitudo Mea Levitate, an Acquabianca marble sculpture inspired by the aesthetics of the Panigale, and in the participation in Arte Fiera 2024 and 2025, with the Officina Arte Ducati Award dedicated to the works of young artists close to the values of the brand.

Through the Ducati Foundation, the motorcycle manufacturer promotes and supports initiatives that celebrate the creativity and culture of Italian engineering. From its participation in Design Week with immersive exhibitions such as Forma - Feelings designed by Ducati in Borgo Panigale, to its collaboration with Golinelli Foundation for the exhibition “From Origin to Destiny,” Ducati explores and writes the link between speed, art and innovation.

Andrea Crespi's work will be the protagonist of a temporary exhibition at the Ducati Museum, offering all visitors the opportunity to experience up close the combination of art and engines that has inspired the Ducati world for so long. A mosaic of artistic expressions that tell Ducati from a different perspective, but perfectly consistent with its identity, celebrating beauty as an essential part of Made in Italy.
