Morocco | The D.O.C. journey

Beyond Every Expectation

Towards the Desert

We set off from Tangier with one clear goal: to reach the desert of Merzouga. It sounded simple. It wasn't.

From day one, Morocco revealed its toughest side. Heavy rains had torn the roads apart, leaving behind little more than broken stretches of asphalt. Temperatures ranged from -1°C to +10°C, far from what we had expected in March.

Then came the snow. In some places it was over a metre deep, making the route completely impassable. The only way forward was to pull all ten motorcycles, one by one, with ropes for nearly one hundred metres.

That was the moment we realised this journey would become far more than a ride across Morocco.

All the Way Through

Morocco never stopped changing. Rain turned into snow, snow gave way to warmth, warmth turned back into cold. Then, suddenly, the desert: endless expanses of clay and sand, raw, powerful and unforgettable.

The challenge wasn't only the terrain. The nearest fuel station was still 30 kilometres away, while our tanks were almost empty.

Honestly, I wasn't sure my Multistrada V4 would make it all the way. But it did. Just like I did.

By the end of the journey, I hadn't simply reached my destination. I had discovered what that motorcycle was truly capable of—and how much I had grown by facing every obstacle along the way.

"Every day pushed me to my limits—and every day, I pushed back harder."
