DUCATI HERITAGE CONTEST: winners announced

At World Ducati Week 2018 elected the most beautiful Ducati classic

At WDW 2018 the Ducati Heritage Contest elected the most beautiful "heritage" motorcycle after a careful selection of the jury that combed through the whole Misano paddock looking for these authentic jewels produced by Ducati in the past.

The awards ceremony was attended by Andrea Albani, director of the Misano Racetrack, the commissioners of the FMI (Federazione Motociclistica Italiana) historical register, representatives of the Ducati Foundation and Carlos Checa, SBK 2011 world champion, who personally gave the award to the winner of the 2018 Heritage Contest.

Of the 10 classic bikes chosen by the jury, the victory went to a splendid, perfectly preserved Ducati 750 F1 from 1986 owned by Duilio Damiani, while second place was awarded to an equally beautiful Ducati 350 Scrambler from 1972. Third place went to a parallel Ducati 500 Sport from 1978.

All ten owners of the finalist motorcycles received awards from Ducati, and also from the Misano circuit and the FMI for their participation in the contest.

See you at the next edition of the WDW with the Ducati Heritage Contest!
