WORLD DUCATI WEEK

Ducati Heritage Contest

Historic Ducati Motorcycles at World Ducati Week – Centenary Edition

From July 3 to 5, 2026, during World Ducati Week, the Ducati Heritage Contest will welcome the motorcycles that shaped the history of Borgo Panigale, offering collectors and enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase and celebrate their most iconic models. A contest dedicated to Ducati’s heritage, where authenticity, condition, and historical significance are the key judging criteria. An event designed to celebrate and share the passion that built the Ducati legend with the international Ducatisti community.
Do you own a historic Ducati? Join the Heritage Contest.

The contest is exclusively reserved for Ducati Road motorcycles built up to the year 2000.

To ensure historical consistency and accuracy, the motorcycles will be divided into four homogeneous categories:

  • Vintage: models produced from 1946 to 1960
  • Classic: models produced from 1961 to 1970
  • Post Classic: models produced from 1971 to 1985
  • Youngtimer: models produced from 1986 to 2000

The finalists will compete for three main awards:

1st place: Ducati Icon leather jacket
2nd place: Misano CA chronograph watch
3rd place: Ducati Redline P3 helmet bag

In addition, a Special Jury Prize will be awarded to a particularly significant motorcycle: a unique original fairing piece from the Ducati Historic Warehouse, signed by a racing rider.

Furthermore, all 10 finalist motorcycles selected by the Technical Jury will receive a Borgo Panigale Experience VIP, an exclusive gateway into the Ducati world, in addition to all other awards.

How voting works

The Ducati Heritage Contest results are determined by a combined evaluation from two juries: the Technical Jury and the Popular Jury

The Technical Jury assesses the finalist motorcycles through votes cast by Ducati historians, designers, and engineers. Each vote counts as 1 point.

The audience at World Ducati Week 2026 also contributes to the ranking as the Popular Jury. On July 4 in Misano, attendees will be able to cast their vote via a dedicated ballot box; each preference is worth 1 point.

The scores from both juries are then combined to determine the final ranking and the three winners of the contest.
