Ducati participates for the first time at Auto Shanghai, from April 18th to April 25th, with an independent both that is positioned in the luxury cars Hall n. 8.1.

Closing 2018 with a growth of 31% - a positive trend for the sixth consecutive year - China has become also the sixth market for Ducati worldwide. 2019 is still expected to face a positive trend. “During the last six years we witnessed a strong demand for Ducati on the Chinese market. This is why we are introducing more models, opening more dealers and providing more experiences in 2019” Fabrizio Cazzoli, General Manager of Ducati China, adds.
After covering the major first and second-tiers cities, the network expansion is now moving to additional urban hubs. By the end of the year, Ducati China dealer network is expected to reach 27 mono-brand flagship stores.
Ducati is positioned as the “sport bike” per excellence, by winning the highest number of Superbike Championships during the last 30 years - with 350 podiums - and becoming the indisputable symbol of motorcycle racing. This sport DNA is here represented by the top-of-the range Panigale V4 Speciale, at its China public debut. Enriching the sport family, the versatile SuperSport and the perfect balanced, between track and road, 959 Panigale. This last model will be the protagonist of the new Ducati China Panigale Cup, the very first mono-brand competition organized in China for non –professional Ducati riders starting from May 2019.
But Ducati it’s not only "a racing machine2: by bringing the full model range, Ducati wants to reinforce its presence in every riding segment. From the Multistrada family, offering cutting-edge technology comfort for long-distance riding, to Urban riding icons such as XDiavel and Monster models. Present at Auto Shanghai also the Scrambler brand, standing for fun, free-spirit and customization values.
Along with a growing dealers’ network and focus on products, Ducati is expanding its customers’ journey with new riding experiences and digital channels. Two Roadshows, one dedicated to Ducati and the other one to Scrambler, will start from May, offering more than 500 premium riding experiences to local riders around China. Also the Ducati Loyalty Card is now launched to provide more benefits to Chinese customers and fans: “Building a close and trustful relationship with our customers is the key factor in understanding the local market’s needs.
