DesertX Rally passes the though Transanatolia 2024 test again

Two standard DesertX Rally supplied by Turkish importer Korlas completed the Transanatolia 2024 with experienced riders Francesco Catanese and Cesare Zacchetti.

The race was an important test of robustness and reliability for the DesertX Rally, which covered over 2100 km of special stages. The 2024 edition was particularly technical and rocky, tackled with completely stock bikes (except for the narrow channel rear rim) and without any technical assistance except tyre replacement.

To test the mechanical parts, it was decided not even to clean the air filters during the race.

Seven days of racing, more than 20 hours of timed special tests navigated by roadbooks.

The two riders managed to reach the finish line without any problems, finishing the race in 5th and 6th place in their category and demonstrating the extreme reliability of the two bikes.

The Transanatolia Rally proves to be a beautiful yet though: an excellent test bench for Ducati's projects.
