General info

The Thai circuit is the work of the German architect Hermann Tilke and was inaugurated in 2014. The track is equipped with two long straights followed by corners, but it is categorised as a "stop and go" track where hard braking is followed by fast accelerations. It is located about 450 km from the capital Bangkok and the large stands can accommodate up to 100,000 spectators.
