Friday practice at Estoril (Portugal) sees Bulega top the timesheets in both FP1 and FP2. Third place for Lecuona, less than a tenth behind his teammate.

Newly crowned Superbike World Champion Nicolò Bulega topped Friday at the Estoril Round, the eleventh round of the 2026 season, which ends in just over a week in Jerez de la Frontera.

Iker Lecuona finished third after a day of steady progress, ending the session just 0.084 seconds behind his teammate.

Both Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team riders took to the track in FP1 and FP2 without using the soft rear tyre.

Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #11)
“I'm pleased because we immediately found again the feeling that we had been missing a little in Cremona. We still need to fine-tune a few details, but I definitely think we are on the right path.”

Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #7)
“It was a Friday with a few ups and downs. In FP1, the feeling wasn't great, but in FP2 we took a big step forward. We need to work on the data to get back to the feeling we had in Cremona. Overall, I'm very confident.”
