Discover moreThe Superbike World Championship returns to the track at the iconic TT Circuit in Assen (Netherlands) for the third round of the 2026 season.
The Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team is fresh from a triumphant weekend at Portimão (Portugal), where it wrote a new chapter in WorldSBK history thanks to four one-two finishes by Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona, who ended P1 and P2 respectively in Superpole, Race 1, the Superpole Race and Race 2.
The Italian rider is firmly in the lead of the World Superbike Championship standings with 124 points, 56 more than his team-mate, who must defend an 8-point lead over third-placed Bassani (Bimota).
Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #11)
“I can't hide the fact that it's been a really positive start to the season. The results are significant, but the most important thing is the feeling I've had with my Ducati Panigale V4R. The standings? We're only at the third round, so there's little point in looking at the numbers. Last year, we had some bad luck, but we were still fast. We need to build on that.”
Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #7)
“I really like this track, where I've also achieved good results in the past. The important thing, though, is to keep our feet on the ground. The fact that I've finished second three times at Portimão doesn't change our plan: to improve session by session, building up the feeling with the bike. So I'm not setting myself any goals for Assen, other than to further improve our performance.”
