Soft bags are lighter and more flexible, making them ideal for short trips or urban use. Hard cases, on the other hand, provide more protection and safety, especially on long or adventurous trips.

For long-distance or mixed-route trips, hard plastic or aluminum panniers are the best choice because of their water resistance, strength and capacity.

In addition to being designed directly on the product by the Ducati Style Center, Ducati Performance bags fit perfectly with the style of each model and have undergone rigorous safety and stability tests. Mounting kits allow for quick installation and easy assembly and disassembly while traveling. Moreover, in models with radar capabilities, Ducati Performance cases do not compromise those capabilities in any way. Some models, such as the Multistrada Family, are available directly from the factory with side case fittings.

Distribute the weight evenly between the left and right bags. Removable inner bags help keep things tidy and make it easier to pick up the contents.

Plastic panniers require a small component included in the kit, which leaves the bike's aesthetics clean when the panniers are removed. Aluminum panniers require a dedicated steel frame. In the Ducati configurator you will find the indication with any additional items needed for installation.

Plastic panniers are designed to be removed without leaving visible supports. The mounting frame for aluminum panniers, however, remains visible.

The frame kit required to install the aluminum side bags leaves the option of being mounted as fixed or as tilting. By default, the mounting is tilting to ensure stability at a higher speed both at official Ducati dealers and in the case of factory fittings. However, it is possible to choose fixed mounting to ensure greater sturdiness, especially on routes that involve off-road sections or on particularly rough roads. For plastic panniers, on the other hand, only the tilting configuration is provided.

Yes, all Ducati Performance panniers and bags are designed to provide maximum comfort for both the rider and passenger. The Multistrada V4, for instance, features set-back panniers, providing additional space and comfort for passengers' legs.

We recommend using mild soap and water. Avoid aggressive products, especially on aluminum, as they may cause dulling.

Check the seals and supports periodically.

Store bags in a dry place away from heat sources.

Respect the maximum load ratings to travel safely and avoid long-term deformation that could affect functionality.

Avoid bumps and abrasions, and do not expose the bags to mud or salt for extended periods without cleaning them afterwards.
