You become a Ducatista the first time an engine awakens something beyond sound. The first time a motorcycle ceases to be merely a machine and becomes a true sense of belonging.
At the World Ducati Week - Centenary Edition, that choice could be felt everywhere. In the 257 Ducati Official Clubs arriving from 94 countries, their flags proudly displayed side by side. In the 118,036 attendees who, for the first time in WDW history, took the event beyond the 100,000 mark. In the 18-kilometre Ducati Parade, a breathtaking parade that took 40 minutes simply to clear the circuit. In the Ducatisti who travelled from the furthest corners of the world, including India and China, spending days on the road with their Ducati as their companion.
It was there in the paddock, alive from the first light of dawn and never truly quiet. In evenings spent surrounded by motorcycles and stories shared with people who, only the day before, had been complete strangers. In the worn leathers of those who have ridden for thirty years, and in the fresh new gear of those just beginning their journey. It was also present in the commitment of everyone at Ducati who brought every detail of this once-in-a-lifetime celebration to life.
Becoming a Ducatista is a personal choice. But it is within the community that this choice truly comes to life: here, passion becomes belonging, and a story is created together — day after day, generation after generation.
A century of history came alive on the track. At Misano—the circuit where Ducati has written some of the most iconic chapters of its legacy—past, present and future converged in a single, unforgettable moment before the eyes of those who have followed, lived and dreamed the Ducati legend.
The Lap of Honour brought together Casey Stoner, making his first-ever appearance at World Ducati Week, alongside Troy Bayliss, Carl Fogarty, Loris Capirossi and today's champions: Francesco Bagnaia, Marc and Álex Márquez, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Nicolò Bulega and many other Ducati champions. Thirty-seven World Championship titles, united in a single unforgettable image.
The Lenovo Race of Champions brought together riders from different championships and racing disciplines on the same grid, united by a shared passion and celebrating Ducati’s racing heritage through its most authentic language: competition. For those who have been part of the Ducati journey for years, it was a chance to see their heroes together once again. For first-time World Ducati Week attendees, it was the most powerful introduction to what it truly means to become part of the Ducati story.
A parade celebrating Ducati’s first 100 years: the moment when a global community came together as one immense force in motion
Eighteen kilometres of Ducati motorcycles, one after another. Forty minutes just to leave the circuit. From above, an endless line of bikes stretching into the distance; from the road, thousands of engines creating a shared heartbeat.
An image that will remain forever in WDW history: a whole community riding together, united by the same passion, writing a new page in Ducati’s 100-year story.
Every Ducati tells a story within a century-long journey of evolution: a bold idea, a technical challenge, a distinctive design choice, a vision that transforms a motorcycle into an icon.
At the Heritage Village, the “100 Years, 100 Stories, One Legend” exhibition celebrated this extraordinary journey through the motorcycles, the people and the defining moments that have shaped Ducati’s identity.
A story rooted in the past, yet always looking towards the future. Because celebrating 100 years is not about simply preserving a legacy, it is about giving it new meaning through new creations, new projects and new visions.
At the heart of this connection between heritage and innovation are the Superleggera V4 Centenario and the Collezione 100: two unique expressions of the same relentless pursuit of performance, design and exclusivity. Created to honour Ducati’s history and carry its spirit forward into the next century.
Ducati’s first century reached its spectacular finale in Misano with an image that captured the true essence of this historic milestone: thousands of people brought together by a shared passion, beneath the same sky, their eyes reflecting the same emotion.
During the Live the Legend Night, the circuit became the symbolic stage of the Centenary celebrations. a place where Ducati’s past, present and future came together.
On stage stood the people who have shaped Ducati’s legacy and continue to write its story today.
Above the circuit, a breathtaking drone show illuminated the night sky, tracing one hundred years of evolution and celebrating a journey that has unfolded decade after decade.
From the bottom of the heart, a heartfelt thank you goes to every Ducatista who chose to be part of this extraordinary moment.
To those who travelled from near and far. To those who have ridden, worked, raced, applauded, created and dreamed alongside Ducati.
Ducati’s first century is a story that continues to live through the people who have shaped it. At the Centenary WDW, you became the protagonists of its most unforgettable chapter.
Thank you for shaping the first one hundred years of Ducati’s legacy.
