Discover moreThe Panigale V4 Tricolore is a tribute to the seventh generation of Ducati supersport motorcycles and celebrates Made in Italy through an exclusive livery created by Aldo Drudi and Ducati Centro Stile. For the first time, the Italian tricolour is combined with the colours of the chequered flag, a symbol of victory, enhancing a motorcycle that represents a significant evolutionary leap thanks to new aerodynamic, chassis and electronic solutions.
Produced in a limited series of just 100 numbered units, the Panigale V4 Tricolore is the first Ducati Tricolore to feature a standard technical specification specifically designed for track performance. Its distinctive equipment includes the Brembo Front Brake Pro system, carbon fibre wheels, a dry clutch and a numbered steering head. Each motorcycle is delivered with a certificate of authenticity and a dedicated bike cover.
More than a motorcycle, the Panigale V4 Tricolore represents the perfect synthesis of technology, performance and Italian excellence. A model that renews the bond between innovation and tradition, carrying Ducati’s vision forward in the world of high-performance motorcycles.
Every Ducati dressed in the tricolour celebrates a special chapter in the history of Borgo Panigale. The Panigale V4 Tricolore pays tribute to an extraordinary 2024, marked by success in MotoGP, WorldSBK and Motocross, while renewing a tradition that, forty years after the first 750 F1 Tricolore, continues to embody the most authentic spirit of Ducati.
The story of the Tricolore begins with the 750 F1, the motorcycle that marked Ducati’s official return to racing. With its trellis frame, destined to become an icon, and as the final masterpiece of engineer Fabio Taglioni, the 750 F1 represents a defining chapter in Ducati’s history. The decision by the Castiglioni brothers, Ducati’s owners at the time, to adopt the Tricolore livery was no coincidence: it was a symbol of rebirth, a way of telling the world that Ducati was back and ready to win again. And so it did. With its iconic livery, the 750 F1 went on to achieve important victories, including a triumph in the legendary 24 Hours of Montjuïc.
After that success, the Tricolore began to appear on production motorcycles as well, cementing its presence with the 851, a landmark model that introduced the liquid-cooled four-valve engine. During this period, Ducati was preparing to dominate Superbike racing, and Ducati Red became both a symbol of supremacy on the track and an object of desire among motorcycle enthusiasts.
Almost twenty years later, the Tricolore returned in force with the 1098 S Tricolore, a motorcycle created to bring Ducati back to the top, this time in the marketplace. Once again, the challenge was won. From that moment on, the Tricolore livery was reserved for models that embodied the ultimate expression of performance and design, such as the Monster and the Panigale.
No longer just a tribute to Italy, it became a distinctive mark of limited editions created for those who seek the very best. A tradition that continues to celebrate the innovation, passion and resilience that define Ducati. Motorcycle after motorcycle, victory after victory.
Today, that same spirit lives on in the Superleggera V4 Centenario Tricolore, an exclusive series limited to just 100 collector’s motorcycles, inspired by the legendary 750 F1 #618.
The ultimate expression of Ducati identity, the Superleggera V4 Centenario Tricolore brings together a century of performance-driven innovation with the colours that have come to symbolise victory. A meticulously crafted masterpiece that celebrates Ducati’s Centenary through a perfect synthesis of racing heritage, technological innovation and contemporary craftsmanship.
On June 2, 2024, at the Mugello Circuit, Ducati achieved a historic one-two finish at the MotoGP Italian Grand Prix. An extraordinary result, secured by Desmosedici GP machines wearing a special light blue livery as a tribute to the Italian National Team. That triumph, on Italy’s Republic Day, established the Ducati Lenovo Team as the Italian national team of two wheels, giving Ducatisti a moment of pride that will remain in their hearts for years to come.
The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia was created to celebrate that achievement. It is an exclusive version of the Panigale V4, featuring a light blue livery inspired by the Desmosedici GP machines that dominated that memorable day, along with a racing-focused setup designed to push emotions and performance beyond every limit. Produced in a limited series of just 163 units, as a tribute to two-time MotoGP World Champion Francesco Bagnaia, the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is a true collector’s piece, celebrating Ducati’s racing passion and its relentless pursuit of excellence.
