Discover moreOn March 23, 2025, we set off from Ilhabela, Brazil, heading south with one clear goal: the end of the world.
Argentina, Patagonia, all the way to Buenos Aires and Ushuaia, riding mile after mile along the legendary Ruta 40 and facing the feared “73 Malditos”: gravel, unstable roads and unpredictable weather. Not just a road, but a true test of endurance and skill.
Argentina rewarded us with its raw beauty: the Seven Lakes Road, the mountains of Bariloche, the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier, and the vineyards of Mendoza.
Then came Chile, with 1,247 km of southern roads, endless curves and relentless wind. Crossing Los Caracoles, we reached The Hand of the Desert, a giant stone hand rising from the Atacama sands — solitary, powerful, almost surreal.
Next stop: Peru. Canyons, ocean, Andes and history. From Uchco Canyon to the beaches of Paracas, from Lima to Cusco, through lagoons and highlands. Nature and culture flowing one into the other.
Then Bolivia: La Paz, the highest capital in the world, the thrill of the Death Road, narrow dirt tracks hanging over sheer drops. And finally the Uyuni Salt Flats, a white ocean at 3,650 meters above sea level — simply unreal.
Last destination: Paraguay, passing through Mariscal Estigarribia and Filadelfia.
In 72 days, we covered 21,063 km across 6 countries. Cold, snow, rain, scarce fuel stations, rough roads… and even llamas crossing our path. Every day brought a new challenge.
The most unforgettable moment? Riding through Argentina on my Ducati, feeling the bike become part of the journey itself.
Because an adventure like this doesn’t just require a motorcycle. It requires trust, resilience and comfort.
My Multistrada V4 was exactly that: stable, reliable, with suspension that never gave up and riding modes ready to adapt to any terrain. A true travel companion.
And now I know what’s next: the Multistrada V4 Rally.
