Discover moreFrom Collezione 100, the series inspired by our most iconic liveries, comes an exclusive artistic project signed by Ugo Nespolo, one of the leading Italian artists of the late twentieth century. To celebrate the connection between past, present, and future, the Master has created twenty original artworks: ten dedicated to the Collezione 100 models and ten to the historic motorcycles that inspired them, all interpreted through his unmistakable visual language.
The result is a collection of twenty original artworks: one dedicated to each Collezione 100 model and one to its historic source of inspiration, all interpreted through Nespolo’s unmistakable visual language.
A vibrant and dynamic narrative unfolds through color, deconstructing and reassembling the motorcycles’ lines to highlight the power and beauty of every single livery. Created as a tribute to Ducati’s one hundred years of history, these works form a unique collection that will officially become part of the Borgo Panigale heritage, supported by the Ducati Foundation.
To translate the artwork into a tactile dimension and enhance its sense of dynamism, Ugo Nespolo chose a distinctive printing technique based on the micrometric layering of color, in which successive layers of varnish are applied through repeated passes. This meticulous process gives depth and texture to the graphic mark, allowing shapes and geometries to emerge from the surface.
The result is an experience that goes beyond the visual, engaging the sense of touch as well. Each artwork acquires the depth and uniqueness of a gallery piece, celebrating the attention to detail that unites Ducati’s excellence with Nespolo’s artistic vision.
In the Master's works, these two protagonists are not separate elements but merge into a single dynamic composition, where the motorcycle’s lines and the rider’s silhouette complete one another. Through bold strokes and vibrant fields of color, Nespolo captures the inseparable bond that is forged in the saddle, celebrating the harmony between human instinct and mechanical precision.
It is a visual expression of a profound connection, the same bond that has always united every Ducatista with their motorcycle.
